How to Make Banoffee Pie

Prepare Banoffee Pie

  • Step 1

    Preparation of Dulce

    • a. In a saucepan, simmer the unopened can of NESTLÉ® MILKMAID® Condensed Milk in water for 2.5 Hours to make caramel. Allow it to cool before opening
  • Step 2

    Preparation of Banoffee Pie

    • a. In a mixing bowl, combine cookie crumbs with melted butter. Press the mixture into a pie dish to from the crust. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 90 minutes
    • b. Spread the prepared Dulce de leche over the chilled crust
    • c. Cook banana slices in sugar and butter caramel, then set aside to cool. Arrange banana slices on top of the caramel layer
    • d. In another mixing bowl, whip the cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form
    • e. Spread the whipped cream over the banana layer
  • Serving Suggestions:

    Garnish with chocolate shavings. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
