Prepare Mutton Stew
-
Step 1Clean, wash, & drain the mutton pieces. Marinate the mutton with turmeric powder, lime juice, and salt. Leave it aside for 30 mins.

Step 2Transfer it into a pressure cooker and add 4 cup water. Cook on high flame for about 2-3 whistles. Simmer for another 10 minutes and turn off the heat. Mutton should be 80% cooked. Remove from heat and let the pressure subside on its own.

Step 3Heat ghee in a large pan. Toss in the cardamon pods, cinnamon stick, & cloves.

Step 4Add curry leaves, then stir for a minute.

Step 5Add the sliced onions and green chilies and sauté until they turn translucent. Add ginger, garlic, and sauté for few minutes.

Step 6Add the potatoes and shallow fry till golden from outside.

Step 7Add cumin and pepper powder. Followed by cooked mutton pieces and Maggi® Coconut Milk thin. Mix well and cook on medium flame until the mutton & potato are cooked.

Step 8Reduce the heat to low, add the Maggi® Coconut Milk thick and let it simmer for 5-10 mins. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped coriander. Serve hot with rice or appam.
