Prepare Solkadhi

Step 1Rinse and soak Kokum in 1 liter of water for 30 minutes.

Step 2After soaking, squeeze the Kokum with your hands into the soaking water.

Step 3Strain the Kokum water and further extract the leftover juice by mashing against a strainer.

Step 4Add 1.5 liters of water to the Kokum liquid.

Step 5Add Maggi® Coconut Milk to the Kokum water.

Step 6Heat oil in a thick kadhai and temper mustard seeds, cumin, followed by curry leaves, hing, and deseeded green chilies.

Step 7Add crushed garlic cloves and cook for 30-40 seconds until lightly golden in color.

Step 8Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.

Step 9Serve chilled or at room temperature, as preferred.
